Refining Alteration Footprints of the Hammond Reef Gold Deposit using Hyperspectral Imaging
Project: Refining Alteration Footprints of the Hammond Reef Gold Deposit using Hyperspectral Imaging
I am an exploration geologist passionate about emergent and innovative technologies in mineral exploration. My MSc thesis aims to further the development of hyperspectral imaging by using this technology to characterize the alteration footprint of the Hammond Reef Gold Deposit and develop practical exploration vectors at a deposit and regional scale.
My Honours BSc thesis was completed at Brock University in 2017. In it, I used quantitative bulk fluid inclusion gas analysis by quadrupole mass spectrometry to understand the composition and evolution of hydrothermal fluids in the Tiriganiaq Deposit of the Meliadine gold mine.
