I am originally from Chapleau, Ontario, but I began my post-secondary education in Sudbury, where I discovered my interest in the mining industry.

I obtained a diploma from Collège Boréal in Civil and Mining Engineering Technology, and I wanted to further my knowledge in geology beyond my few college courses, so I completed a BSc in Earth Sciences at the Harquail School of Earth Sciences.

In 2020, I was awarded a prestigious Harquail Scholarship to support my undergraduate studies. I also worked for various mining and mineral exploration companies through the summer as an undergraduate student. I am now continuing at Laurentian in graduate school and am completing my MSc in Geology. My thesis is focused on the structural evolution of the Winnipeg River gneisses and overlying supracrustal sequences, as well as the distribution of metal-bearing pegmatites in this region of northwestern Ontario.
