Jeff Harris
Metal Earth Data Analytics LeadDr. Jeff Harris is the Metal Earth data analytics lead. This initiative involves the compilation of existing geoscience data as well as newly acquired data over a number of greenstone belts in Ontario and Quebec. The goal is to create Digital Integration Models (DIMs) showing the mineralization potential for each greenstone belt. The ultimate goal of this project is to determine why some of these belts are mineralized while others are barren. Integration of the data in the form of DIMs will shed some light on this proposed question.
Dr. Harris was previously employed at the Geological Survey of Canada as a research scientist conducting research on data analytics, remote predictive Mapping (RPM) and mineral potential mapping (MPM). He has authored more than 150 scientific papers and GSC Open-file Reports.
