PhD candidate Mineral Deposits and Precambrian GeologyGenesis and Localization of Ni-Cu-PGE Mineralization in the Sudbury Structure
Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. Graduate of the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology, Germany, in Geology/Mineralogy (B.Sc.) and in Geosciences – Economic Geology (M.Sc.). During my studies, I have worked on mafic dikes and associated Ni-Cu-PGE deposits in Central Europe. Further areas of research are hydrothermal Li-Co-Mn and Ag-Pb-Zn mineralization.
Research Project Title:
Genesis and Localization of Ni-Cu-PGE Mineralization in Offset Dike of the Sudbury Structure, Canada
Project Description:
Providing new data for a better understanding of Sudbury’s Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization; testing new models of ore formation; characterizing new exploration vectors
