MERC invites you this September to participate in the upcoming geology field trips to highlight recent results of Metal Earth! Government, academia partners, and members of the exploration industry are welcome.

You may sign up for any individual trip or for all seven. These field trips represent the opportunity to view key outcrops along the transects and discuss interpretations and research results with the lead researchers on the transects.

Northeastern Abitibi

1) Sept 9th: Chibougamau, Québec

Central Abitibi

2) Sept 10th: Larder Lake, Ontario
3) Sept 11th: Cobalt, Ontario

Wabigoon

4) Sept 9th: Rainy River, Ontario
5) Sept 10th: Dryden, Ontario
6) Sept 11th: Sturgeon, Ontario
7) Sept 13th: Geraldton, Ontario

Registration:

This field trip is offered at no cost. Transportation to each transect is not provided. To register please contact Metal Earth at metalearth@laurentian.ca with your name, title, organization, and dates attending.

Space is limited by logistics on a first come first serve basis. Meeting places for each transect as well as a full field guide will be distributed prior to the trip.
