Geochemical and isotopic analysis of water and sediment to characterize lithological and anthropogenic contributions to the New River Estuary catchment in Southland, New Zealand. Supervisor: Dr. Matthew Leybourne
I completed by B.Sc. at Queen's University with an honour's thesis focused on the structural evolution of the Okanagan Valley fault system before making the switch to environmental geochemistry in my M.Sc. at Laurentian. I specialize in conducting environmental site assessments that target sediment and water quality, especially in agriculturally-dominated landscapes. I have had experience with soil remediation and structural mapping in northern Quebec, performing dendro- and geochemical analyses at a research laboratory, and with both local and international archaeological field surveys and excavations.
